For avid readers, a simple space can be transformed into a whimsical surprise with an enchanting book corner – the ultimate book lover’s realm!
This can be temporary – or permanent for a huge surprise room revamp! Just make sure you have permission to decorate the room.
You’ll need:
- A new book or book series they’ve been really excited for as a gift
- A heartfelt message to write inside an envelope slipped into the front of the book!
- Cushions in their favourite colours
- A couple of large blankets
- Hot chocolate, iced coffee or their favourite sweet drink!
- Twinkling fairy lights, a mini lava lamp, or both!
- Props and plushies from their favourite stories (great if they’re a fan of a popular book series with merchandise)
If they’re comfortable, gather a few close friends to enjoy this luxury haven together. It also works wonders for a themed film night!
